Mentality

I wanted to send out a reminder to be disciplined in the small things. Keep it simple to stay focused and remember to plan at minimum, what you must achieve the next day to feel successful. For some, that might be as simple as having one super healthy meal, just make you know, and hopefully wright it down, the day before. Each small right action builds momentum and confidence. Be forgiving of yourself if you have a bad day but know what you must do to get back on track the very next day. Simple, yet incredibly important to progress and momentum.

A few things I personally do every day to stay disciplined. I keep three things by my bed every night: A water container to drink right before I go to sleep and right when I wake up, a lacrosse ball to roll out my feet first thing in the morning, and my journal as a constant check in each morning and night. These three things are there to be small reminders to stay disciplined in the small things. Trust me, if you have ever read The Compound Effect, they add up.

Yours in Health,

Alex
